🚗 Vehicles & Equipment

What vehicles do you offer?

Our fleet is 100% Mercedes: E-Class sedan (4 passengers), V-Class van (up to 7 passengers) and S-Class limousine (3 passengers, VIP service). All vehicles are recent, air-conditioned, with leather seats and onboard Wi-Fi.

Can the Mercedes V-Class carry skis?

Yes, absolutely. Our Mercedes V-Class has a large boot that can accommodate up to 6 pairs of skis (or snowboards) in addition to luggage for 7 passengers. We also offer roof bars on request for larger groups. It’s the ideal vehicle for transfers to Verbier, Gstaad, Chamonix and Crans-Montana.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, we offer 3 types of child seats:

  • Baby carrier (0-12 months, up to 13 kg) — rear-facing
  • Child seat (9 months – 4 years, 9-18 kg) — with 5-point harness
  • Booster seat (4-12 years, 15-36 kg) — with seat belt

Child seats are available on request. Please specify the number and type when booking. Supplement of CHF 30 per seat.

Are the vehicles air-conditioned?

Yes, all our Mercedes vehicles have dual-zone climate control (front/rear). Rear passengers can adjust the temperature to their preference.

Is there Wi-Fi in the vehicles?

Yes, free Wi-Fi on board all our vehicles. You can work, send emails or make video calls during your journey.

How much luggage can I bring?

Luggage capacity per vehicle:

  • E-Class: 3 large suitcases + 2 cabin bags
  • V-Class: 7 large suitcases + cabin bags
  • S-Class: 2 large suitcases + 2 cabin bags

For oversized luggage (bikes, sports equipment, pushchairs), please let us know when booking.

💰 Prices & Payment

How are your prices calculated?

Our prices are fixed and guaranteed at booking. No meter, no traffic surcharge, no surge pricing. The price shown is the final price. It includes: vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls and standard waiting time.

Is there a night surcharge?

No. TaxiGVA charges fixed prices 24/7, with no night, weekend or public-holiday surcharge. The price confirmed at booking is the final price.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) — in the vehicle
  • Twint
  • Cash (CHF and EUR)
  • Bank transfer (for companies, monthly billing)

📋 Booking & Cancellation

How do I book a taxi?

Can I book in advance?

Yes, and it’s recommended. You can book up to 3 months ahead. For airport transfers, we recommend booking at least 24 hours before. For urgent rides, we’re available within 15 minutes.

Can I cancel my booking?

Free cancellation up to 6 hours before departure. After that, cancellation fees of 50% may apply. For airport transfers, free cancellation up to 12 hours before.

✈️ Airport Transfers

Does the driver track my flight?

Yes. We track your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, early or changes terminal, the driver adjusts automatically. No surcharge for flight delays.

Will the driver wait with a name sign?

Yes. Your driver waits in the arrivals area with a name sign. They help with your luggage and escort you to the vehicle.

How long does the driver wait?

60 minutes free waiting after landing for international flights, 30 minutes for domestic. Beyond that, CHF 1.00/minute applies.

Swiss side or French side at the airport?

We pick up passengers from both sectors of Geneva Airport. Specify when booking whether you exit Swiss or French side. Learn more about the French side →

Which ski resorts do you serve?

  • Switzerland: Verbier, Gstaad, Crans-Montana, Zermatt, Saas-Fee, Villars, Leysin
  • France: Chamonix, Megève, Les Gets, Morzine, Courchevel, Val d’Isère, La Clusaz, Avoriaz

Do your drivers have winter tyres?

Yes. From November to April, all vehicles are fitted with approved winter tyres and carry snow chains. Our drivers are trained for winter mountain driving.

👔 Service & Drivers

Do the drivers speak English?

Yes. All our drivers are bilingual French/English minimum. Some also speak German, Italian, Arabic or Portuguese.

Are you available 24/7?

Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
